The spirit of the SRV Team – Lasting impacts for enhanced service delivery
Valoris for Children and Adults of Prescott-Russell is a multiservice organization that grew from the amalgamation of five community agencies. As a way to move from silo service delivery to an integrated service model and to ensure a unified approach, Social Role Valorization was introduced to all employees as a common lens for service across all mandates of service (child welfare, child and family mental health, child developmental services, adult developmental services and domestic violence). Since 2001, Valoris promotes SRV throughout the organization investing in SRV training and teaching person centered approaches to staff at all levels and to translate this theory into daily service delivery. In 2010, Valoris launched the SRV Team to allow the team to deepen their understanding of SRV themes and to apply them for better outcomes for the people they serve. Now in our 5th cohort, SRV Team graduates have successfully left their mark at Valoris through creative projects and lasting changes. Join us to discover more about the spirit of the SRV Team at Valoris and its lasting impacts!
